About Phil
In 1994, Phil graduated from East Texas State University (now called Texas A&M at Commerce) with his Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Minor in Counseling. Then in 1996, Phil successfully completed his Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. After graduating from ACU, he started working for Buckner Children & Family Services in Longview, Texas as a therapist in August 1996.
In 1998, Phil went into private practice. He is both a Licensed Professional Counselor #14708 and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #4855. Phil is also a Christian counselor and tries to incorporate his faith in all he does.
He and his wife have been happily married for over 16 years, and have two incredible kids ages 12 and 10. The Armours attend a local church, try to stay involved in the community, and enjoy the East Texas area, believing that it is a great environment in which to raise a family. Phil is excited about the future and is investing a lot of time and energy in the creative arts. He has had the pleasure of meeting and working with many talented and creative people in this area.
